Rohan Samaraweera leads the Data Science branch at the Department Of Home Affairs where he works to mature, modernise and broaden Department artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science capabilities. Under his leadership the branch has evolved into an agile and adaptive team leveraging the unique data, expertise, and intersecting missions within the Department to create public good. The branch continues to expand its analytics capabilities and services to support a broader range of portfolio areas, domestic and international partners.
Prior to joining Home Affairs, Rohan had a career as a Signals Intelligence Officer with the Australian Signals Directorate, operating in the nexus between data, technology and intelligence tradecraft in support of military and counter-terrorism operations.

Lee is passionate about empowering individuals and organizations to achieve more through technology, and has been a champion for digital transformation across various sectors.
At Microsoft ANZ, Lee is responsible for driving Microsoft's technical vision and strategy, and leading a team of experts who are focused on delivering innovative solutions that help businesses and individuals achieve more. Lee is a frequent speaker at industry events and is regularly featured in the media sharing his insights on the latest technology trends.

Prior to HTI, Gaby was a Partner at international management consulting firm, Partners in Performance, a senior executive in the NSW Government, and a commercial lawyer.

Rasika Mohan

With a passion for systems-based approaches, Rasika’s areas of interest are ESG, technology, design thinking, business strategy, and organisational governance. She loves helping boards, leaders, and teams crystallise their vision for positive impact in the world, and implement tangible action to make that vision a reality.
Over the last 18 years, Rasika has worked in the automotive, banking and financial services, engineering, roads and transport, international and community development, ICT, and aged care and disability sectors. With clients and colleagues across the corporate, not-for-profit, and government (state and federal) spheres, I have developed business strategies, designed products and services, implemented governance, risk and compliance mechanisms, and led program implementations. During this time, I have been privileged to engage with stakeholders and communities across South Asia, South East Asia and the Pacific Islands.
She is am an experienced speaker and facilitator, and currently serve as an advisor and board director for organisations in arts and STEM in schools.

Dr Liming Zhu

Dr/Prof Liming Zhu is the Research Director of the Software and Computational Systems division at CSIRO’s Data61. Data61 is part of The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and Australia’s data/AI innovation arm. The division innovates in the area of AI/ML/big data infrastructure, computational and simulation sciences platforms, trustworthy and responsible AI, distributed systems, blockchains, software ecosystems, software engineering/architecture, DevOps, quantum software, privacy and cybersecurity. He is also a conjoint full professor position at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He formerly worked in several technology leadership positions in the software industry before obtaining a PhD degree in software engineering from UNSW. He is currently the chairperson of Standards Australia’s blockchain and distributed ledger committee and on AI trustworthiness-related committees. He has supervised more than 20 PhD students and taught software architecture courses at UNSW and the University of Sydney. He has published more than 300 academic papers on software architecture, dependable systems, data/ML infrastructure, blockchain, governance and responsible AI.
